Hi there... it has been a while since I draw something I want.. I have been bussy with all the "empidemic" thing in my country and with commission work... so .. now I decided to take a break and do something for me...

I saw a few days ago on the "daily deviations" a photo of a doll that blow me away!!! and I just loooved the style of the eyes and everything... so... thanks to :iconsassystrawberry: because she took awesome photos from all those dolls and I just loooooved that style... ***PLEASE VISIT HER GALLERY***....so I did Ariel in the big dolly eyes style! and colored her in sepia! I hope u like it!!!

As an artist who also works with traditional pencils and having recently around Christmas Time had a class in college that demanded I use it more. I have to say I personally know what its like to do hair with those strands. While it is hard, it is a lovely reward and I feel she had alot of fun with this work.

I think this is one of the nicer pencil drawing that you have done, you can tell you wanted to do this for you and you really pulled it off.

I looked only briefly at the dolls, but this wonderful and well done and I love her Seashells........how has no one noticed this? Or commented in the critiques. The way the light hits her collarbone and dots her shoulder is fabulously lined up with her hair highlights and is actually quite right. One thing I do agree with is that curl that you see ending just by her seashells should have had more lighting, not just near the shell but on the other side, because thats where the light is hitting.

I love the tinge of pink though I in my tired state failed to notice it until I read critiques! LOL OOPS!

Fantastic piece adn I love her lips, the shinies on her cheek make her seem more doll like and while someone said it was a slightly stiff piece I don't agree. You're drawing her in a style of a doll they are stiffer and plastic or whatever they're made from. My point is fantastic job!
